De Kwakel, June 2026 – On Thursday, 11 June, HBA once again hosted its traditional Hydrangea Night during the Flower Trials. Looking back, it was a highly successful event where business and pleasure came together perfectly.
Visitors had the opportunity to explore an extensive range of both potted hydrangeas and cut hydrangeas, including a number of exciting new varieties.
Guests interested in cultivation and innovation could also learn more about the HBA “Op Schot” trial, in which we are evaluating which HBA cut hydrangea varieties are best suited for season advancement. In addition, Koppert was present to share insights into the ongoing practical trial on chemical-free cut hydrangea cultivation currently being conducted at HBA.
We would like to sincerely thank everyone who visited us in De Kwakel for their interest and enthusiasm. It was a pleasure to welcome so many growers and partners, and we hope to see you again next year!
