The Royal series represents varieties that can be pruned deep for flowers on new shoots, but can also perfectly fit in a traditional way of production. A period of natural cold to stimulate regrowth and induction is required for these varieties.
A combination of the deep pruning and traditional method creates a long window of harvesting.
